Established almost years ago, The european restaurant is a family business, which has grown and developed through the years.
Owner and Chef Gian Carlo Slaviero, followed classical training in a leading hotel in Turin before running a number of establishments in Italy, Jersey and finally the UK. His previous restaurants included Valentino's and Il Ponte Vecchio in Nottingham and L'incontro in Stamford. At The european, he broadened his offering of Italian cuisine to include other European influences.
The european's success has been its ability to provide classic cuisine with a contemporary twist, in an environment, which is always inviting. We work endlessly to perfect our standards and service. This combined makes the difference between an average dining experience and a truly memorable dining experience.
In the restaurant Giacomo (pictured above), Valentina, Michelle and their team of staff are knowledgeable about what we offer and assist clients with suggestions, in addition to making sure that they are looked after. Gian Carlo leads the kitchen team, which is bolstered by Head Chef, Sean, from the Czech Republic (pictured left).
The team use well-sourced seasonal produce to create the diverse and excellent menu. In conjunction with the kitchen team the restaurant is constantly moving forward with new ideas, innovative
presentation and continual quality.
